Dr. Lakisha Rice

Dr. Rice has a passion for developing leaders from the inside out and brings over 26 years of successful experience in public school and higher education. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Master of School Administration Program at North Carolina Central University. She is the Principal Investigator and recipient of two school leadership grants, totaling $5.3 million dollars over the next five years. She is also the owner of Edu-Care Consulting 1, where her specializations include developing school leaders who are mentally prepared, data driven, and culturally responsive school leaders. In her current role as Assistant Professor, Dr. Rice has written peer-reviewed journals and is completing a leadership manual that outlines key responsibilities of aspiring leaders.
